Is there a hardware accessory that transfers files faster?

For example, when I go on vacation, I'll come back with 1000 pictures and videos and it will take hours to transfer all of them from my phone to my micro-SD that I save all my vacation photos on. Is there a way to do this faster? Or perhaps speed it up in the future when I want to move them/copy them from this micro-SD onto something else?

Are you using a usb 3 port on the pc? Are you transferring straight from the phone or using a card reader? If you look inside the usb port, its usually blue not black. See image

Depends on the read speed of the phone SD card or phone flash where you stored them
Depends on the speed of the interface you're using (USB2 or USB3)
Depends on the speed of the card reader
Depends on the write speed of the destination SD card

You're probably being bottlenecked on the last item if I understand your description correctly and you're trying to archive to a SD card. The '10' in 'Class 10' was a baseline performance rating of 10 MB/sec of writes.

If you save those to hard drive or SSD of the PC you'll see higher transfer rates, or you can use a 3.0 thumb drive instead of another SD card for your storage which would increase performance, assuming your PC supports USB3.0.
