Moving boot drive to a different pc?

Is it possible to move a windows 10 boot drive to a different pc and have it run normally?

Not really. Especially if its going from AMD to INTEL or vice versa. Activation will be an issue as well. Depending on the license and if its tied to an MS account, might be kinda hard getting it work. Does the old pc still work?

The old pc still works but start button and settings does not work. Its got a POS system installed on it and i was hoping i can move it to a different pc.

If it's corrupt on one machine, moving it to another is going to at the very best not change anything and more than likely cause more problems. Assume we're talking about same machine as your other thread?

sorry about the confusion. The old machine is working fine. The problem is with the PC that has POS installed. I have backups of the pc that includes the POS, the problem is the pc keeps having problems after I have restored them. It will work fine for couple of month and there will be problems. Its happend more than 4 times already in the past year.

I was thinking maybe there is something wrong with the pc it self so I was thinking of replacing it with new pc and use my backup to restored it to a new pc.

I hope this is more clear than what I was replying before.
