Got the 150Mbps package in my new place. I'd complain about the speeds, but the bill is half of what it was at my last apartment. Same speeds, half the price. :)

I would still complain, thats not even half the total speed. Xfinity provisions their lines over 20 percent so you should be getting almost 180mbps, which is what I was getting when i was on their 150 plan. Now on the 250mbps and getting 300mbps.

Router: Netgear Nighthawk R7000
Modem: Motorola SB6190

Using a wireless dongle, but even my roommate on ethernet was getting the same speeds. Haven't been able to test it on my PC. Having an issue that I'll detail in a seperate post

Either your wireless dongle sucks, or you're pretty far away from your router?

I get ~1.7gbps connection to the router wirelessly according to my router's TX/RX numbers.

Current connection I have to put up with via 3G hotspot

WiFi is terrible where I live and have no option to upgrade the router, we do have extenders but they make little to no difference.

4G signal is intermittent at best, and my hotspot doesn't support 5G :p
