You don't have another way to access the internet and reset the password? It sounds like it is configured as a Microsoft account, so as long as you reset the password of that account you can log in.

No internet connection
I think I'm going to have to use a pasword reset disc on a usb. Seems like the only other option

HI! I hope I´m not to late,
But since it is a laptop try to: Click on the Keyboards "windows button" and select: The Cog Wheel (settings) on the left,
scroll down and select: Update and Security, click: Recovery in the left pane, in the right pane it should say: Reset this computer, followed by a "button": Get Started!

At first Try to select to reset and SAVE all your files and accounts… And try to see if you can make your old account a LOCAL ACCOUNT! In that way you may get access to any locally saved files that you may save... The connect that local account to a NEW microsoft-account that YOU are the master off.

BUT IF the locally saved files are not important (s.a. if you have them in a backup), then reset your computer and NOT saving any old file and accounts.. THIS IS THE BEST WAY! Since you get to name the 1:st account as PCAdmin etc. run, Windows update install antivirus software s.a. https://home.sophos.com (Free for 3 PCs or macs)
Then create a regular useraccount for yourself..
And By doing so, you may always use the PCadmin-account as a rescue if similar things happens again.. (just logon as PCAdmin, create a new account, copy files from the old account to the computers shared files.. So logon with your new account and copy or move the files from the shared folders to your secure and private files! Connect your new account to a microsoft account and you are up and running again in no time… with little hassle!)

It will save you a lot of time and trouble in the future

With it being tied to a Microsoft account, a password reset disc isn't going to help you.

Long and completely incorrect post redacted
You clearly didn't read that he can't even log in....

click restart while holding shift key until the blue screen appears. I think you must wipe it clean to bypass pw.

If you want to save files you can create a back door to reset pw.

option tabs will walk you through a full reset / save files or clear it back to factory. Since you require the pass the other option is a must. theres a couple decent easy to follow tutorials on yt to get on the way.

youll need a connection to reinstall windows, though.

Option B seems fitting.

BTW I forgot. You can also break the pw by dowloading software to an android, and then plugging in via ubs to the lappy to unlock it. Be careful not to ruin the lappy. follow instructions with xtra care. Hope this helps.

None of this makes any sense.
