i had a zenith laptop that had a 75 mhz processor and 25 mb of ram and it was running windows 95. it couldnt even run internet explorer it took forever for it to come up and msn messenger didnt run on it.

I had a 80watt psu and i still have a 40MB harddrive thats twice the size as any standered power supply, took up almost 1/3 of the case it was in. but it owned. I also had a sound card that was almost as big as the motherboard and had memory expansion slots on it

we have tons of those just scrapped in my school. LOL. in the tech lab, theres a cabinet full of old hdds and p 2's, 1's, and 3's. pretty ancient stuff there.

lol, not that funny, my backup computer is worse than that (not backup as in useable in emergency, it isn't, but used to backup everything onto) I think the slowest in my school, which only the geog room and 1 science lab have are pIII 733 Mhz, 128meg ram, and minimnal HDD's, they don't even have optical drives, other than that they just have tons of crap RM things, but they have nice 17 inch tft's :D

yeah...not saying its the worst...but i cant run paint, msn, wmp and IE at the same time lol, because of "not enough memory" !!

Bwahahahaha, i had a PDA that was faster!

It's ok though, the only machine I can technically call "mine" anymore runs on Windows98, old K6-2.

I used to have a 400MHz PDA... Sold it, though. It was too hard to take notes with. After I sold it and my old laptop, I got a laptop that actually had a battery.

Now, I used to have TONS of old computers. I think my max was around 50 working machines at once. I've really cut down since, but as you can tell by this post and my for sale posts, I'm not short when it comes to computer stuff ;)

alrighty, there's four computers at my house, all of which are my mom's. Number one, a TRS-80 (dunno anything else about it). Number two, a NEC with a 100Mhz processor, 1.25gb hard drive (that's all I remember) that she bought for like 3+ grand back in 93 I think. Then there's a HP with an 850mhz that originally had 256mb ram and a 40gig drive, but has been upgraded to I think 512/200. Finally there's her new one (which she doesn't "trust" yet) with a 2.8 PD, 1 gig ram, 250gig HD, and for the first time, dedicated graphics and sound cards (one of my friends says I built her a ferrari to go to the grocery store with, probably true). I guess my point is she never throws anything away and I could donate a sizable portion of stuff to a computer museum.

I've had worse. My 2nd box used to be a k6-2 with 64mb RAM, and i once had a p133 with 32mb. I've since got a celeron 1.7 and donated my k6-2 to the school. I still have the p133, but it's never on and I've since disassembled it and took the CD-ROM and floppy drive and kept them around as spares.
