Need help with CYBERsitter version 9

I have a friend who has cyber sitter version 9. His mom installed it on his computer to block and . But it is now blocking almost all of his web sites. Like espn. Is their anyway without knowing the password to edit it, or delete it?

Perhaps your friend could ask his mom to loosen the restrictions/re-configure the settings of the program to allow him to view his fav. sites again.

I'm not so sure we're allowed to talk about bypassing parental control programs/hack security settings here.

what about bypassing it through a proxy server (I think that's what I'm talking about), you're connected to some server and you surf through their connection and it goes through their server and back to you. That's how most students get around things like that in high schools. BTW, how old is your friend, I mean you're 18 and I can't see you hanging out with like 12 year olds or anything....

If he can even access a proxy site, or anonamyzer site. Those kinds of software companies usually block all webpages like that.

Heh, actually my friend who is now my room mate is 24, he had some bad gambling problems so his mom put that on his computer. The only thing he wants is to view sports pages but it is making it so he cant even veiw espn. I will see about trying to bypass it thru a proxy server tho. thanks

Its pretty much imposible, my parents put it on cuz my little brother and ive tried it all, even tried to connect to a proxy. although i cant use my home computer for practically anything, i can only respect the people who made it, its the only cybersitter-like program that i havent been able to bypass.
