yeah what good will your processing power do ya when your batteries are dead.

this is what my frd gave me:
"more proc power, so the job gets done faster then u can turn off the computer earlier"

another one:
"more batt life, it's your ram + battery life + video to be worried about"

depends on what you are using it for, some applications couldnt really benefit a great deal from increased processing power.

Intel Centrino 1.5 will do you fine. The battery is way lighter. But why buy satellite when u can go with the light weight 3 hour 1.7GHz Tecra M2?

really it all depends on what your going to use the pc for... if your a highly mobile person then its mandatory you get something which has as good battery life
i would probably go for more battery life as you can watch full dvds wit out em cutting of before you even complete the movie.. if your more of a heavy duty person (e.g video editing gamer etc) and battery life is not as important as processing power then knock ur self out wit something wit high MHZ...
