Video?

What about video card? I would get a less powerful PSU for maybe 35 so its a better one than what your looking at. I would also go for a motherboard with more Memory slots for future upgrades. Also what about a sound card? Or are you goin to use onboard video and sound? (Not recommended)

It's not for games or anything, and the work she's going to be doing is financial, so I don't think that I need a graphics or sound card, and a maxed out 2 gigs on the board is good enough

Alright well then depending on how much mem your programs take up you should be good but you might need maybe 256mb more but i would hold off on buying that for now. I see reviews on the onboard video processor of the motherboard you chose shows its quite capable of up to date high-end games so it should do just fine for what you want. And a good thing is theres plenty of room to upgrade if needed. All looks good over here captain.

Alright, i usually don't really look at the rebate things, because i hate dealing with them (and they take forever to get)
Do you think that theres enough RAM for what she's doing?
The computer that this would be replacing also has 512, i beleive

everything should be fine, as you say your mum will be running financial peices and mostly just normal work on it (with the odd bit of internet i believe)

For that the system is more than enough

Hell my dad is still using an AMD K6400mhz and it does everything he needs to run his business from. Even though he has a 2ghz pc sat ready next to it to use that i built from spare parts :s
