Nice PC man, about OC'ing it all depends on your set-up....everyone has different results even though they have the same products. However, you could most likely get it up to 3.5 Ghz.

ok right now it is at 3.84GHz... the voltage is 1.425
is this good? it seems fairly stable... should i keep making it go higher? or is there something else i should do first?

I would lower your Ram Speeds below stock speeds so that you dont get instability from that. I would push it up by .1ghz and then test it for stabiltiy with PRIME 95. Once you find the stable mark, underclcock it by 100mhz and i would leave it at that. Then slowly increase your ram speeds until you find the ustable mark and then underclock in by 30mhz.

I could of bought same sig as dans with my remaining 3.5k but I decided to save that for dx10 videocards and the futures latest cpu.

Super PI the 4m test is another good quickie test to check stability. And don't set your ram as low as it can go, just go until you hit some instability, and then set a divider, or set a divider first if you want to be sure. You should be able to get it upper 3's if not low 4's, looks like you have a pretty good oc going for now. Go a little easy on your ram right now, but not 100MHz until your cpu is as far as you want it or it will go, then play around with RAM frequencies and timings. Oh and when you are done with your OC post a Super PI 1M time, if oyu would, should be pretty fast, my Sandy hits about a 32 sec Super PI 1m but some core 2s hit under 10s. It can be affected by your ram alot though, so make sure your timings are as tight as they can be and your frequencies are high. BTW in the end run Prime 95 at least overnight, as well as Memtest when you are done OC'ing to check for stability.

omg dude your pc is prolly worth more than my car....
i would say stress test it at 3.8 and work with it at that speed for about a week, then try for more if it is absolutely stable at 3.8

Well, I'm stable at 3.4 Ghz , so the X6800 should go alot more... 4.0 Ghz plus would be a necessity for me...

You updated the BIOS etc...? That will definately provide better OCing results...
