Questions about Overclocking my E6300...

I read over the overclocking guide and I pretty much just know the basics of overclocking.. I have a few quick questions about getting started...

First, here is what I have...

E6300 Duo Core 2 Processor
P5B MOBO - http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16813131030
2GB Cosair DDR2-800 - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145590
500 Watt PSU - http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16817148010
Evga 7600 GT - http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16814130017
WD 250GB HD - http://www.newegg.com/product/product.asp?item=N82E16822144701
I also have the stock cooler right now, but I am probably going to get this cooler - http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16835118223

I've played around with adjusting the CPU Frequency and I saw my CPU speed increase.. I went up to 285 and reached a speed of 1.99GHz. I watched the temps while I ran a stress test and it reached 55C.. idle was about 45C. I didnt want to push it too much right now because I still have the stock cooler, but when the time comes I have a few questions Id like to know the answers to...

1) What else should I adjust besides just the CPU freq? I've seen other people adjusting the voltages of their CPU as well as the RAM.. Should I do that too & how/when should I do it?

2) Should I also adjust settings of the RAM? My ram is already at highspeeds (DDR2-800), so what should I do about that?

3) Is there anything else I should know?

Thanks!

Also, I read on some others posts that you should manually set the RAM speed so that it doesnt auto adjust, but I cant find a setting to do this..

For example, If I set my CPU FSB from 266 to 267, the ram selections automatically change.. like the DDR2-533 will change to about DDR2-535 or so. Any suggestions?

there may be a divider in place between the core clock and the ram clock

They meant ram timings, not ram speeds. You can't keep the ram speeds at the exact same speed if you overclock your processor unless you overclock a certain amount and put a certain memory divider on.

Your not pushing the CPU, the temps for P5B is ~5-10.C lower, because of an temperature bug.
