well.. some people post questions in their posts.. you dont think they would deserve an answer too?

No. Questions in posts do not deserve an answer. I do not answer questions in posts. Posts with questions in them I completely ignore.

Oh...... Wait a minute....

simple answer. no. two ports in back of dominant card, two pictures. you can split them a million times, but it will still be two pictures. unless somebody comes out with a new card driver that allows such a thing, the answer is no.

oh really? http://www.matrox.com/graphics/offhome/th2go/home.cfm
:) like i said, it works with Quake 4, MS FS 2004 and WoW.. gives a huge looking angle in the game itelf, and was pretty cool to see :)

ofc, its not perfect.. but it worked with 2 6800's in SLI.. ( ofc the fps went down a lot in quake 4.. but still playable :)

lovely?

It's simply astounding how one person can say so much to pretend like they actually know what they are talking about, yet not answer the question and say sweet *%&$ all at the same time. I've never seen anything like it.

i think you quoted the wrong person there...

you cant run an off board and an onboard card at the same time i think (it would be a mess driver wise i think)

Actually I've done it before with a PCI fx5500 and intel onboard graphics. It was a pain in the butt to set up, but it did work.

yes you can have dual monitor setup with a 6600gt. Just plug one monitor in the VGA (blue) connector, and the other in the DVI (greyish white). There are adapters if both your monitors are only vga. After you connect both, it should be under display settings, where you can either clone desktop, extend desktop and some other features.

Can you show me what the adapter looks like? They are both VGA I guess then. I guess I'll have to buy the adaptor?

I've heard some good things about the Matrox TripleHeadGo that Archangel posted. It should work well if you're willing to shell out the money.
