What's up? I have a problem with one of our computers. You turn it on, and you get this message saying something like Press F1 to fix or F2 for something else. So I pressed F1, and the computer looks like its going to load something, then I get this message

"Windows could not start becasue the following file is missing or corrupt:

\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM

You can attempt to repair this file by starting windows setup using the original set-up CD-rom.

Select "r" at the first screen to start repair"

Well, I don't have this disk it is talking about. And have no clue what the problem is, any help guys? Thanks.

Did you buy the computer from a company (ie, Dell, HP....)? There should be a recover cd that came with it.
