Games at Best Buy

I know everyone knows Best Buy as overcharging for everything, but they had some mad deals yesterday on games.

I bought three games for $19.99 each. (GRAW, FEAR, and Call of Duty 2). Even on Newegg they would cost alot more.

I just felt like sharing :) Is anyone able to activate CoD2 via Steam?

One of the dumbest things they do is the random fluctuations in prices, or the random high prices of some games when they are available for a cheaper price in a pack with others. Prime example: I bought Beyond Good and Evil (very good game, btw) with one of the Splinter Cells and the new Prince of Persia for $10. Right next to it was BG&E for $40 on it's own!!! I mean WTF!

actually i work at best buy - i dont think the overprice for games at all... only place i ever find them cheaper than best buy's retail price is online really, and thats normally used, or out of a warehouse in which case you have to wait for processing and such, and then you end up paying for shipping anyways...

besides, we pricematch if you can find it at a lower price elsewhere (we dont pricematch online stores like amazon lol)

F.E.A.R. for $19.99? Was this a one day deal or are these the final prices now?

I said "As Advertised -$19.99". I was going to pick up the expansion for $19.99 as well, but decided I would play the original first.

What about my instance though??? :D

the game pack probably came out later, and the game maker just charged best buy less for the pack. yea, they do some stupid things like that but they cant just lower the price on an item that they bought for X amount of dollars... they could lose money that goes into my paycheck that way :D lol

the items WERE right next to each other, meaning i do my job well :) haha

I was at BB getting Star Wars: Battlefront, and the had about 15 copies, of which 6 were 19.99, 5 were 14.99, and 4 were 9.99... it rang up as 19.99, but the cashier sold it to me for 9.99...

Yeah, I found something once that was priced at $0.00 but I was nice enough to just let them know, it was some really crappy movie that I didn't want, probably could have given it away to somebody, though... Hmm...

I ended up buying a game guide there that was labeled 15.99, but it only rang up as a penny, so I got it for one cent!
