Service pack coming for vista

I belong to the microsoft forum and read somebodies post, so i went to the help section to look for an answer and found this in the article i was reading.

A supported hotfix is now available from Microsoft. However, it is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply it only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix may receive additional testing. Therefore, if you are not severely affected by this problem, we recommend that you wait for the next Windows Vista service pack that contains this hotfix.

No idea exactly, id think within the next 4 months most likely theyll roll everything into a service pack and let it out to the public.

Well writers for PC magazine assumed that Bill's speech on how Vista can update automatically, which eliminates the need for a service, means that there wont be a service pack for Vista.

I wouldnt hold your breath on a service pack, since all the updates are being applied as needed.

Considering i just reformatted my pc adn my cd is only 2 months old and already had over 75 updates i would say its safe to say a sp is out of the question. I highly doubt they waste their time on one since most people have at least a 1mb connection now. They are just simply pushing updates through windows update and if you dont do windows update its your own fault.
