well afterall you do have both a good cooler and a good case so what you expect....obviusly its gonna be good.

i heard the Core 2 duos run at a nice temp anyway,And those temps are even nicer when you have it overclocked too ;)

but you have to also think that i had the same temps on my cpu as in the room.Which is even not reachable with water cooling.

I have 5 fans in my entire case, they are:

Stock Intel Cooling Fan - CPU temperature is 22 Celsius, connected to the PWR_FAN connector so it keeps cool.:p
Akasa 80mm Rear fan - Exhaust fan to expel air from CPU vicinity
Akasa 120 Front fan - Cools the HDD down to about 27 Celsius and keeps the Southbridge at about 35 Celsius
120mm PSU Fan - Lazily spins and keeps the PSU cool
GPU cooler - Keeps the GPU at 45 Celsius under load

Not bad considering the room is at 21.9 Celsius. I like my cases quiet but may get a fan for the side to blow onto the CPU.

EDIT: Oh, and I've had the CPU at 13 Celsius for 10 mins before in a morning just after booting.

Yeah, I use speedfan, I think it's great, have it running in your system tray too, so you can allways see it.

SpeedFan is a great program overall, but for more accurate temps with the Core 2 Duo, download Intel TAT.
