aim and vent with vista?

Has anyone used an older version of AIM with Vista. I use an older aim 5 something and dead aim, I am not a fan of all the frills and features of the new aim 6, i like it simple, but I have a feeling the older version isn't going to work.
Also has anyone used Ventrilo with Vista yet?

Oh and Ink ball is totaly worth the upgrade from XP =P

use GAIM. It doesn't have the frills and it works nicely. Google it, you'll enjoy it.

To answer your question, Aim 5.9 Works with vista, But has a few small problems.

I haven't tried Ventrillo yet.

what are the problems? as long as I can msg people without it crashing...

Yea, Once in a while it has a little trouble starting up. but overall it works fine.
