Help! Ie Exits Everytime!

i have a copmuter my dad made like 4 years ago. cost him in the thousands (in those days like 1.5 GHz was fast!) its a 1.3GHz processor and dont know mobo. i got the comp. overclocked it to around 1.43 Ghz, replaced PSU, RAm, and CD drives. been 5 months. now that i run IE for a few hours it just closes, no error screens or anything, while im still using it! it gets pretty annoying...

Try another web browser like Firefox and see if it has the same problem.

I would also recommend firefox on the older computers its super quick and ive never had it freeze on me once! On vista i use IE7 but it runs fast and never freezes, on my XP machine i run firefox because in my opinion, IE7 on XP sucks real bad. So yeah, another vote for firefox. If you get it, dont uninstall IE, just make firefox your default browser and all that. You still need IE for things like microsoft update and all that.

when i load firefox it takes longer for it to load than IE. takes exactly 4/5 of a second to load IE. Its 1.3Ghz oced at 1.4 ... is overclocking the problem?
