DS2 and DS3, S2 and S3...Overclocking???

Will the models with 2(mATX) overclock like the models with the 3(ATX)? I know I have asked before, but I am thinking I want my next PC to be mATX.

Thanks

I am referring to Gigabyte's DS2 or S2 to OC like a DS3 or S3.

I think it probably would... I found this as a review off NewEgg;

This is the ultimate budget board plus more! This is sweet moderate overclocking and stability is awsome perfect board for the gamer who doesnt want SL1 or Xfire.

So, I guess it would.

The form factor doesn't effect overclocking. If you put an otherwise identicle mATX board in the same case as the ATX version of the board they will more or less overclock the same.

The only thing you really have to watch out for is heat because most small form factor PCs can't match the cooling options you can fit in an ATX case.

I just plan to OC an E6600 to 3.2Ghz, I might go with mATX. I like to take it with me and show it off.
E6600
DS2 or S2
8800GTS
250Gb HDD
Apevia X-Qpack

Will it fit? What do you guys think?

Thanks

The MOBO should, if the case and MOBO are MicroATX.
The GPU may be big though, best thing is to get the actual dimensions of the two and work it out.

Yeah, fitting an 8800 into a mATX case may be a little difficult. If you just want an mATX board because it's cheaper or something, it will still fit into an ATX case. Usually with small form factors you need to use integrated video or low profile/half height cards

Make sure its got the 965P chipset. If it is a 965G, then Intel locks out anything more then a slight overclock to protect the integrated graphics.
