Which one do you prefer? I've never tried a Zune, so I prefer Ipod

I have an Ipod nano *first generation*, and an Ipod Video.
The nanos screen got messed up due to steam, and the video's screen internally and a little externally cracked when dropped onto my mouse pad after unplugging it from my computer. Fell not even a foot.
I have the Zune to.
That fell from standing distance onto tile and carpet. Works perfectly.
Not a scratch on it.
IMO its built a lot better then the Ipod.
And, the Zune is PC friendly. While the Ipod works on PC's, but is more targetted for macs.
And if you have an Xbox 360 you can hook the Zune up to it and do other stuff.

I've had a Zune, they were nice, but I feel Microsoft could of made it a bit smaller and the colors they offer aren't that great IMO. I ended up getting rid of it and got away from the video players all together and got a nano. I still think the Zune is better than the Ipod Video, the Zune is definitely tougher.

The Zune has more colors then the Ipod Video.
And its kind of pointless to hook an Ipod to a 360.
And I dont like the Ipod Videos screen. Its to small.
The zune has a bigger, more wide screen.
And it doesnt have a touch sensitive strip.
And its not thin. So it wont break when dropped.
And it doesnt show scratches.

i got a 60gb ipod cuz thats all ill need and itunes is an awesome program..with the only bad part being u cant just hook ur ipod up to ur mates pc and download all his music but the ipods r the best even the movie quality is clear accessories are a bank breaker also

I've had 2 gens of ipods, currently on a 30gb black one from last january...and i'll have to go with a zune on this one. A bunch of my friends got zunes and the interface along with the screen size is amazing. If you plan on actually watching a movie on a small screen, go with the zune.

The Zune screen is much bigger and more wide then the Ipod Videos screen.
Plus the Zune isn't slippery like the Ipod. And even if it falls, its protected, without any accessories.

But the Zune screen size isn't that much bigger, and they both have the same resolution, so surely the ipod with smaller screen & same res. would look much clearer?

Ok, why is it so pointless? I plug my iPod Nano (2Gb, First Gen) up to my 360 and listen to music all the time.
