Between the two monitors (widescreen), would one be a better match for the 320 mb version? Should i go with the 20 inch widescreen and a little bit lower resolution? I want to keep my FPS as high as possible without upgrading to the 640MB version.

I think i might actually just go with the 20 inch to save some money and buy some games. Upgrading from a 17 inch CRT, it should be a beautiful sight regardless ;D. Does anyone know of the measurements (Width and height) or a 20 inch monitor? I'm trying to get a good idea of waht the actual viewing screen size is..

A 640 mb is needed for 1280X1024 for good FPS anyhow 320mb is quite crap.

<320mb = Low end gamers /cards 512> High end gamers/Cards

Don't answer to someone if you don't know anything, 22 inches should be enough for the 320mb but if you want extra performance with AA or AS get the 640mb or the GTX

Hey kid.

I respect you that you are trying to build a computer. But don't discourage other people with nonsense information.

Just because you are rich and have high budget on your building, doesn't mean you have to ignore other people.

go away, i run hl2 on high detail (no aa or as) at 1920x1200 on an x700 pro... it works! (barely!) im sure an 320mb 8800 will run it on high with no problems.
