we'll see...i hate to be so skeptical, but it just seems that vista has not come close to living up to the hype. i hope it gets better though, it has a lot of potential.

We got a computer that had vista and it wouldn't run ANYTHING! Plus for some weird reason it kept shutting down like every 30 min for no random reason and we had only had it for like 3 days. It was the worst operating system we had ever used.

btw. when is it coming out i have been waiting here for what. a month or so waiting for the beta to come out. taking its time isn't it

i bet it is going to be more like in nov next year.. which stinks for the xp people b/c they are holding sp3 back for them... that M$ for you :rolleyes:

They said it's going to be coming out Q1 of 2008.

And there arent many new features, just a bunch of fixes really.

second that, nothing new, but vista still remains a crappy OS :eek:, sorry vista fanboys :cool:

Im confused by this, when I ran windows update a few weeks ago it installed SP3. I really have not noticed any significant changes though.

yes its windows xp and it still says I have SP2. I dont know, I could have sworn it said it was doing updates for SP3.
