I am not gaming. I thought a quad core was top of the line now. Besides lookat what I'm on now..

Then you might as well build it yourself. Quad core is top of the line. What you're SUPPOSED to be looking for is a cheap but strong computer. That is overpriced, and that Quad is not as fast as the Q6600. For the price, I'd expect a Q6600, X38, and 4GB minimum.

The Acer has Intel Quad core Q6600 and 500GB hard drive. It is much better than the one you posted
