new build, audio on front i/o port is dead

I just assembled a new system using an In win case. The audio on the front panel of the computer is dead. I hooked up another panel to the motherboard just to make sure. I've even changed the wiring harness. Problem is I can't find another port on the internet that looks like it. Anyone know where I can get one of these? Looks like this..

P.S. I'm having trouble with registration on the In Win site.

A mic, headphone, and 2 usb ports are what you are looking at there. The case manufacturer would be the one to have the replacement plate/harness for that model case.

If they are not seeing the factory plastic retainer riveted inplace you would then see a pair of fasteners on the insdie holding it in. But the later is less likely there. Crossing the wires and assuming they are no good won't help either. Each one has to be verified in case you placed the lead for one on the ground for another.

yeah, it comes off. The picture shown is with the front panel on. The panel comes off and then one screw holds the i/o in a slot. I can disassemble it all the way down to the little circuit board.

I figured that was likely while sometimes especially on cheaper made cases you can't always remove something like that for any type of repair. You'll have to trace them down to the board while going over the diagram in the user manual for it to see how you may have simply crossed a few wires. It doesn't take much for that.
