As of recently, my mouse seams to have lost sensitivity in games from the steam client; games like Counterstrike and Bioshock. It seems to have started when I installed Bioshock (from Steam). I am using the Razer Deathadder.
Edit: The thing is, it's not that I've had low sensitivity to begin with, it's that I've lost sensitivity that I normally had and have to turn it up from what it it normally set at (I used to play at 5.5 and now I have to play at 12.5).
I've tried:
-Cleaning the mouse
-Changing mice
-Reinstalling the Steam client and games
-Disabling video recording programs
-Reinstalled mouse drivers
-Un/installed CPL mouse fix (disables Windows mouse acceleration)
My latest troubleshoot is downloading the latest Directx as it seems some sort of Direct patch or update was installed along with Bioshock, but I haven't tested it.
