Internet doesn't work on Desktop

Hey I'm in a dorm and I have a router hooked up where I can use my desktop wired and laptop wirelessly when needed. Basically My desktop can't access the internet...and my laptop can't access the internet through my router either...I disconnected the desktop from the router and plugged it into the wall directly...still no luck..I reset the router...no luck...rebooted the computer...no luck...

What else Can I do? It just randomly decided not to work like last night for some reason

Check with your school's IT department. They may changed something which would require you to change the settings on your router.

Yeah I was going to but its the weekend...but no worries it just randomly started working again lol
