Try downclocking and see if that helps. I dont really know but that might help mabye.
Does the screen go back to normal or no? It might be hardware problem cuz when i used to overclock my pc sometimes the screen will kinda look like...
Go to Power Options and there should be an option that says what to do when u close the lid. Try that and see if it works.

I dont know how 3 pin and 4 pin work but mine are connected to the power supply so they are at full speed.
How fast u want the fan to spin is the percentage. I cant control none of my fans from SpeedFan on my Compaq, but on my sony i could.
