    CF Greasemonkey Themes

I have a vB3 license that I can play with some styles and let you check them out, if you'd like? There's a million free styles available, but there's next to no consistency between any of them, if say you wanted to have a light style similar to this, and a dark style for those with light...

iphone siri...seems it is good after all

I don't really have a purpose for it currently, but having voice command is a nice feature. My Grand Cherokee has uConnect, which basically acts as a Bluetooth headset for my iPhone through my speakers. It has voice controls that I use to dial and it's very convenient. I could see people...

I need help finding this server case

From what I've found, it's a Supertalent CSX917A. It appears to be quite obsolete, since no one has it. Is there any particular reason for wanting only this case, or could a newer, different model be substituted?

can't connect to Internet without the cable with my laptop although it's WIFI

WTF does this say? Is that even english? Chances are good that your WIFI is operating in a channel that your card isn't compatible with. The FCC limits the frequency range for wireless devices and it could be a channel that US equipment isn't compatible. You may be able to find a foreign...

I need help settig up switches!

You need the router to serve DHCP and route the traffic to the appropriate systems. The switch simply forwards the traffic, but the router is required to route it. You can daisy chain the switches, but the router has to be between the modem and the first switch.

    Hdmi to vga

Does your laptop require pressing function + an F key, such as F5, in order to send a video output to the HDMI port? Every laptop I've owned required something like Fn + F5, or F8, except it was a VGA port.

What do you mean, by one file of photos? Some sort of compressed file, such as a .zip file?

    windows xp virtual machine help

There's your problem then. Also, you won't get any more help here regarding this topic. It's against forum rules to discuss pirated, or otherwise illegal software.

Using a wireless card or Ethernet connection?

You probably won't notice much of a difference if you have good signal strength on the wireless. You'll likely only see a difference if you're sharing files between systems, as the wireless isn't as quick.

    Outlook 2003 Woes

The best I could find is this article from Microsoft about how Outlook limits the size of the .pst files to under 2GB, to prevent data corruption. It sounds like if you install the latest Office service pack that it will be fixed, but I've never personally encountered this issue, so I can't say...

Help setting up a web server using server 2008r2

That's why it's not going to your site. The DNS entry for your site is incorrect, unless you have it properly forwarded to your VPS's IP.

Does microsoft security essentials slow down pc?

I agree. AVG didn't find a virus that I picked up once. MSE found it and got rid of it no problem.

    Oh, no! Cranberry Juice!

Got my first laptop for free that way. Dell CPiA PII 400MHz, I think? Found a new motherboard/processor on eBay and swapped them at my kitchen table. Took about 2 hours and I spent a grand total of $40. At the time, it was a 3 year old laptop, so that's not too bad. Ran Windows 2000 well...

ethernet wire over empty phone line

Cat3 can support it, but your signal may be bad. It's not shielded, so you could pick up some interference. I wouldn't expect any more than 10Mb/sec though.

What is a good wireless router?

I have this router and it works great. My last couple Linksys routers were a bit flaky and I decided to stop using them. The D-Link unit gives me zero issues.

Can I put XP on this netbook?

You could probably run an ARM version of Linux, but no-go with XP.

    magicjack

I have it and think it works great. I've also used it to fax and although it's not officially supported, it worked fine, as well. If you have an older laptop, you could very easily hook it up to that and save a bit of power vs. leaving a PC running. For $40 up front and $20 a year, it'll be...

    where to look for cases?

I've never gotten into the whole, my case looks like a UFO getting ready for take-off look, so I tend to find cases on Pricewatch.com, Tigerdirect, or Newegg. As long as they look like they're constructed halfway decently and meet the criteria mentioned above, I'll usually check them out if the...
