Can getting a higher output PSU make your computer run cooler? Two people i know have now have said that upgrading a PSU will lower cpu temps, is this true? Thanks for help in advance:D

psu's usaully have component protection systems built into them. so most likely your pc will still work with a different psu

My system has blown 2 psu's in its time. Teach me to use cheap Chinese power supplies

Its unlikely that hes messed up the heatsink attachment. If it was on a small CPU core such as an athlon xp then i would suggest redoing the heatsink. But because its on a flat top 64bit CPU its highly unlikely that's hes messed up the thermal paste. Most likely a malfunctioning part

Well i assume doom 3 outputs Dolby digital. The only way Ive ever been able to feed Dolby digital out from the audigy to the receiver was by using WinDVD 7 and a DVD movie:( All the other mp3's/games and other sounds the audigy has just been producing 2 channel stereo from the digital...

Hi, I have a SB Audigy ES which is connected to my 5.1 home cinema system through Coaxial S/PDIF. I have tried all different modes on the PC and on my Receiver and i can ONLY get stereo out from the audigy:mad: Is there any reason why i cant feed Dolby digital out from the audigy?
