I agree with the guys above - get a better PSU. My brothers failed after a year, it was a Case + PSU, luckily it didn't take anything else with it, but it was still a pain to get one and install it.

Why not just do a fresh install? It would be the easiest. Fresh install, Drivers are easy to get (i have an acer myself). If you did do a fresh install, go windows 7, so much faster.
