I would not buy socket 1156 at all. socket 1155 is coming out and is a lot better than socket 1156, you are just buying into a dead socket if you go with 1156.

These CPUs are hard to get over 3.9, mine would not go any higher no matter what, and that was on water. the stupid thing just would not do it I spent weeks trying to get it to go. The new ones might be easier because they run cooler. Anyways, good luck to you!

Get a 6870 or 6850, They are cheaper than the 5800s and perform pretty much the same. Also you don't need a Large powersupply to run them.

hmm It does appear that only SLI works on your mortherboard. If you plan on adding another card in the future i'd go with a signle GTX 460 1GB edition over your 9800 for now.
