Okay... do is the computer that can't connect using DHCP, or does it accidentally have a manual IP address assigned to it?

    3DMark05 question

Well... I don't know... maybe the developers decided that sound performance doesn't affect the visual quality of games, so they just left it out.

    What? A decently priced dell?

Hmm... yeah that does seem pretty good, considering the two graphics cards cost over $1000 combined.

    Print server

If the printer has a direct ethernet port, then all you need is a router. Then the printer just acts like another computer and has its own IP address. If the printer only has USB or LPT ports, then you'll need a computer to hook it to and act as a print server.

    My Preliminary Build

Nope, they've been working on 2007. It's gonna be sweet, Computer Gaming World has been following it, and it looks awesome. Look at this: http://cgw.1up.com/do/gameOverview?cId=3140086

    Problems with colours

Well... there are knobs inside CRT monitors that let you adjust brightness and focus... but I don't recommend taking apart your monitor. It can be dangerous, but if you are willing to take the risk, you can take off the cover to your monitor and near the back you should see two black knobs...

    ram sticks pluging

Make sure the pins line up... there are different sized sections of pins which correspond to the gaps on the motherboard. Make sure to center the stick inside the retainers on the ends of the slots on the motherboard, and push down on each end of the stick till the retainers click into place...

    My Preliminary Build

Well... as for Halo, you're not going to need too much of a card to play at highest settings. An X800 will allow you to play at a very good framerate with all setting maxed. However, if you think you may find a new game in the future, such as Unreal Tournament 2007, you might want to go with a...

    My Preliminary Build

I'd say spend a little less money on your sound card and video card and use the money for a little better processor, possibly an AMD X2 4400+?

    Best media board

I would disagree with the P4 statement. Pentiums usually perform slightly better for media applications and other things. AMD's usually slightly better for gaming, but since you aren't doing any of that, I'd go with a Pentium.

Big Problem... (instead of ethernet to each room we got cable)

Are you talking about coaxial cable? Ethernet can run through coax and I think you can buy coax to RJ-45 converters.

    6600gt 256mb vs x800gt 256mb

With Pixel Shader 3, the 6600GT will be able to support games with PS 3, and the X800 won't. Pretty much what you'll get from PS 3 is better effects such as soft shadows and bump mapping.

    6600gt 256mb vs x800gt 256mb

Do you mean the X800XT? The X800XT is much better.

    Quick Question

You'll gain more performance out of another stick of RAM than what you would from the overclocking capabilities you can gain from a watercooling kit.

But doesn't that adapter allow AGP cards to fit in PCI-e slots, not PCI 1x slots?

    External 2.5" HDD Problem

Your problem is that you formatted the drive to NTFS. Windows ME can only read FAT file systems. The reason your friend on XP can read it is because XP can read both FAT and NTFS drives. Format the drive to FAT32 and you should be able to use it in ME.
