I use http://www.zcom.co.nz but there isnt much variety of decent parts , it states everything is shipped for free on newegg would that be to New Zealand? otherwise it shouldn't cost too much more to get them to ship it as there parts are cheaper and better.

Looks great to me except do you already have a graphics card for this build as you haven't listed one? i personally wouldn't spend so much on the CPU but that's just me. =)

Try using only one ram card and make sure its in the dimm1 slot, have had trouble with that in the past, otherwise have you tried resetting the cmos? or the bios? hope that's any help (=

Using a ATI Radeon 5400 at the moment and so is my sisters boyfriend. It has two customizable clock settings in its control center, he bumps the first clock to almost maximum maybe 690MHz (max is 700MHz) and the second about 650MHz (max is 900MHZ) just wondering if anyone here has OC'ED this GPU...

GTA SA has really low recommended system requirements, you should be able to run at the games maximum fps whilst in full resolution and detail with that setup :)

is that what the diff between the 850 and 955 is the l3 cache? ive had a look at the bios unlocking option's found the core unlocker but will have to look further into unlocking the cache!

so really the best thing i bought was the mobo :) everything else ill upgrade in the near future!

was running a foxconn a6vmx am2/am2+ mobo with 4gb ram and that GPU but have had the mobo for about 4-5 years!

says it can take dual channel memory, was on a very tight budget and not needing the ram at the moment not doing anything hearty but will be looking at pumping it up a whole lot as the mobo can take 32gb! Thanks for the great opinions and telling me about all the great options i have you guy's...

yeah i got the GPU before everything else to upgrade another comp, just gonna use it till i get my hands on a couple nicer ones and crossfire them. maybe sell my previous system and get the 955 or a x6? will my psu handle a x6 and crossfired GPU's though :P

so how's my setup? was built with a tight budget all of it costed around $500NZD including gst and shipping
