alright, check it out. I took architecture for 3 years and have run rhino and autocad and a couple other no name programs for design. autocad has come a long way and the capapbilities are endless now. i recommend u up the processor to at least 3.0 and the 1 gb ddr2 is def a good idea...

no theres more to it...its got home citys which supprt you as u build int he new world, no more lumber camps and stuff. a lot of change, but gameplay is the same basically.

contrast ratio is the comparison of the brightest (700 or 600) to the darkest (1) images a display can produce. obviously, higher number, in ur case 700, is better. u can really see the difference if u go to a store like best buy and look at the monitor side by side with different ratio contrasts.

first of all, is it on the same ide cable as the other drive. and there is no such thing as a primary slave. its either primary, OR slave. check ur pins in the back of the hard drive. if it is on a separate cable, then both need to be set to primary. if on the same, then the second drive needs...

i would try to remove and reseat the memory first, as a simple solution.

oh man, what a game!!! i picked up the aoe3 collectors edition and havent stopped playing. ensemble studios really did a great job with this game. ive been playing aoe2 for about 5 yrs now, and aoe3 is everything i expected. anyone else pick up age of empires 3 yet? wanted some others...

**SUGGESTION**: card is overheating from working, even though it isnt working hard. the time is getting to it. buy a computer fan that can blow on the card to keep it cool.

do u have a room fan, like a self standing fan? if u do, put the fan so it blows on the comp, and try to expse the internals of the comp as best u can so the fan blows on them. try to install the os like this (using the room fan on high to cool the comp) and if it works, then u know u have a...
