    WTB: stereo headphones or headset

+1 For the ATH M50's. I'm using them currently, and I love them. They're also surprisingly comfortable, I have mine on for around 13 - 16 hours a day, with very minor discomfort. In my opinion they look fairly aesthetically neutral, and the build quality's good as well. I've dropped them...

    Beginning Digital SLR camera?

Currently photography is more of a hobby more than anything else for me, so it would be illogical for me to buy an SLR -- Not only in terms of price, but from what I've been reading they seem slightly complicated (I would consider myself a novice)... I'll refine what I'm looking for then. What's...

    Beginning Digital SLR camera?

Hello, folks I think it's time for me to make the jump from my small digital camera to something a little more serious... I'm looking for a fairly basic digital SLR camera for around $200 - $300 if that's possible. Also, may be a silly question but, is there a standard with lenses? Or...

Post A Pic Of Your Pc Here :)

Need a light? :D With the side panel off, it looks a little shoddy... I plan on doing something with the wires and inverter if it's fairly easy. If it turns out to be a pain in the ass (The wires are fairly short) I'll end up pulling out a black sharpie, and coloring it black so it doesn't...

New to the forums, want advice on what to look for in prebuilt PCs.

No, a surge protector isn't necessary when building it. I built mine, wearing socks, on carpet, with no ESD strap, and no surge protector, and my computer's fine. Am I advising you do that? No of course not... In retrospect that was stupid, and I'm lucky I didn't destroy any parts. Wear shoes...

Sound Card worth it for my headphones?

Thanks for the help guys. I'll look more into the X-Fi Titanium. I have a few computer parts I've deemed more important (New CPU, HDD's, and RAM) But after I get those sorted out, which should be rather soon, I think I'll be adding the X-Fi titanium to my rig :) Again, thanks for the help --...

New to the forums, want advice on what to look for in prebuilt PCs.

I've personally never even used a strap, if it'll make you feel more comfortable using one, that's up to you. No, you can still build your PC whether you have the ability for it to be plugged into a surge protector or not. Do not have your computer plugged in while building it though, just a...

New to the forums, want advice on what to look for in prebuilt PCs.

You have nothing to worry about with regards to an ESD, regularly touch any metal part of your case, a screw that's screwed into your case will be enough. Wear some shoes if you're that paranoid. Yes, your motherboard manual should be fairly clear with where everything gets plugged in, though...

Sound Card worth it for my headphones?

I use foobar to play my music, and I generally never download anything less than 320 kbps, with songs that I like generally FLAC. And just to clarify, I'm no audiophile by any stretch of the imagination, just a fan of fairly high quality audio, and can tell the difference.
