Sorry for the late reply went camping last night just got back, the idea of the 50/50 split on the SSD would it be 3 partitions so more likely to be 60gb 60gb and 8 gb the smaller being the boot configuration data partition , or will 50/50 suffice

Ankur if you where in my position what would you do , Install Win 7 on SSD and install ubuntu onto the 2TB drive

Personally depends on what your using the pc for, gaming on dual monitors is a pain as your char is always in the bezel on full screen, i would go with 3x 22 rather than 1 panel where gaming is concerned but if gaming is not the case than 2 x22 over 1 big panel
