Okay I unplugged all the power cables except for the atx24 cable and the one for the fan on my heatsink its still doing the fan a light thing and then turns off
Alright I getting something now when I turn off power supply and then back on the the cpu fan spin a little and a green led light lights up
what does this mean?
I bought a new 400w power supply installed it nothing still
does that mean its probably the motherboard I pretty sure its not the chip because the motherboard had some fail safe turn off thing
Tonight after I got back from my youth group my computer was turned off. I tryed to turn it back on but the power button doesn't work anymore. There is a light coming from my network card but other than that no signs of power. Sometimes when It was on the fan for the cpu would slow down and up...
I think I figured it out. After weeks of searching for a solution I think I finally came across it. At http://btfaq.com they said that some netwrks card are buggy and they mention a few and among them was mine. THe solution is to update the drivers via the what company they say too. For instance...
How long have you waited for the system panel to come up. Its a pretty slow computer so it may take awhile to load up and if it doesn't than you may have to reinstall windows
then you got to go to the control panel and system and in there somewhere (i dont remeber exactly where because I'm using winxp) you'll find Device manager. in there look for display adapter and then try an update that
Well you can but a premade one from a big company like dell or gateway you could build it from scratch up or you cant let a company do that I did the third option and got my computer from http://www.neocomputers.com/ they do a 48 hour burn in and they have alot of options you can also suggest...
Sounds like a driver issue or if you were successful with changing the bit depth than it the monitor check if you can change its settings of constrast and brightness that may help a bit
I'm not sure but I assuming that the ram should be pretty cool since its got alot of air running across it. I may have been a little vague on the type of fan maybe the diagram will help. sry I'm not an ascii artist

I dont really use anti virus software but I heard good things about avg avntivirus and for the two programs you have why not install one use it for a while then install the other one and test it out and pick out which one fits your interest better
Looks alright to me but in my opinion the power supply looks goofy and I may get a motherboard with the nforce2 chipset its got good reviews checkout toms hardware guide they got reviews on most hardware
ALright I blew a regular fan on the mobo and got temps down to 53C and it still crashes when I run Bittorrent I know the temps are'nt getting near 60 so heat is not the issue
I am perplexed!?!
