Volume control completely stopped working(Windows 10)

As the title says my audio control stopped working. I can control the volume of something like YouTube or Netflix but my windows audio control doesn't work at all! I press mute and the volume is still on. I am using a SteelSeires Arctics 7P headset(the white one with the blue headband) hooked up...

    Possible ARGB header issue?

So I got a hard angle 24 pin PSU cable adapter for my MB & it has a built in RGB light on it. Hooked the RGB cable up to the ARGB header on my MB & it worked for a little while then suddenly turned off & no longer works. Could this be a short in my ARGB header or just a faulty RGB accessory? The...

The Sims 1 Complete Collection Not working on Windows 10! Please Help!

I thought I'd try the MyAbandnware copy of the Sims 1 complete collection so I can finally have a CD-less version of the game with all DLC stuff, but very time I try to launch the game it just crashes to desktop & doesn't even try to run at all. I even tried running in both resolution modes &...

Budget PC Build Guide ($500 - $1200 builds)

Just using the LGA 1700 for around 5 years or more. I don't plan on swapping the motherboard for a while so that's what I'll be stuck with for now anyway.

What cooler for an i5 12600K should I get?

So I'm about to get my CPU for my desktop build soon and deciding between an air cooler or a liquid cooler. The air cooler I'm thinking about is a Noctua NH-U9S or one of the liquid coolers Corsair makes. My case is an NZXT H510(non i) mid tower ATX & I plan on running the CPU at between 3 & 4...

Razer makes some cool gaming laptops & are a pretty popular brand. They can go for between $2k & $4k.

Budget PC Build Guide ($500 - $1200 builds)

Yeah but at least Raptor Lake should remain relevant for a few more years. I'm between a 12th gen i5 and a 12 or 13th gen i7. May try the 12th gen i5 just to make sure everything works and just stick with it if I'm happy with its performance or upgrade to something better like an i7 or i9. So...

Can a 12th gen motherboard support 13th gen Intel CPUs?

That helps more thank you. Looks like way more CPUs are compatible than I initially thought. I'm probably going to go with an i5 12600K since its more affordable & in better supply then upgrade to something better later on. Maybe a 13th gen i7.

Budget PC Build Guide ($500 - $1200 builds)

I just started a gaming desktop PC buld and I'm already out $500 in parts after just getting the case($100) the motherboard($300) and the RAM($100) and will need another $500 in parts just to get it running even with a 'budget' CPU like the i3 or i5. Good thing is desktop PCs are way more...

Can a 12th gen motherboard support 13th gen Intel CPUs?

Tanks but that list shows nothing for my N7 Z690. Just up to the Z590.

    What PSU should I get?

So I ended up going with a Corsair RM850e which seems like a pretty good unit.

Can a 12th gen motherboard support 13th gen Intel CPUs?

I also should point out that my motherboard uses the LGA 1700 socket and I've read online but can't officially confirm that Intel has maintained compatibility for LGA 1700 sockets on the Raptor Lake CPUs.

Can a 12th gen motherboard support 13th gen Intel CPUs?

I'm deciding beetween a few Intel CPUs for my NZXT gaming PC build. I'm between an i5 12600K & i7 of the same type & gen as well as the i9. Also looking at a few 13th gen Intel CPUs that just hit the market since 12th gen intel CPU stock is a bit iffy right now on some sites and pricing is all...

    What PSU should I get?

Looks like I'll be going with the NZXT C850 then. Its $150 after tax but its going to take over a month to ship out but it's probably worth it. Would hate to get something that is junk. NZXT seems to make decent quality components.

    What PSU should I get?

So I'm a quarter of the way through my NZXT gaming PC build. So far I got the case which is an NZXT H510(non i) ATX mid tower and the motherboard is an NZXT N7 Z690 and I plan to get an i7 12th gen CPU & run it between 3 & 5 GHz. I'm planing to get a Notcua NH-U9S CPU cooler & RAM is DDR 4...

    Help with AMD build

Actually thinking about going with NZXT now for the case & motherboard. They make a nice looking more affordable case & they also make motherboards & PSUs that should fit it.

    Help with AMD build

Good point. I may just end up getting a Cooler Master 800 watt PSU I'm looking at for $120. Way cheaper than the 1200 watt ones. The case I decide to go with is that tempered glass Core P3 case Thermaltake makes.

    Help with AMD build

I'm thinking about doing an AMD gaming PC build this year with ether a Ryzen 5 or 7 CPU and an ASUS motherboard & Radeon GPU with a 1200 watt power supply. My budget for this is abut $1,000 but can push it a bit over that if I had to. What is a good combination of hardware for this setup? I want...

Anyone know where I can get a replacement SATA ribbon cable for an HP ProDesk 600 G2?

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Luckily it came with 6 ports(2 in the front and 4 in the back) so 2 dead ain't a big deal. 6 is more than most PCs on the market. Most laptops just have 2.
