    Good half-height graphics cards...?

I looked into it and I think that the GeForce 8400 would be good, because it has low power consumption (Max. 75W power draw I think) and supports the DirectX that I need.

    Good half-height graphics cards...?

Albeit they're outdated, they're WAY better than my current GPU which can't even run TF2. (Crappy Intel G41 express chipset or something like that) But one thing I really need to know is if it supports DX9 shader model 3.0 which is what I need.

    Good half-height graphics cards...?

Hey all. I'm looking for a half-height graphics card to install in our old Dell computer. Pci Express. Our monitor is VGA 1366x768. Willing to pay $100 max. Must support DirectX9 shader model 3.0 (Trying to run SFM). Thanks in advance. Edit: There's no PCI express power plug.

    Good capture cards

My monitor resolution is 1366x768 and I would like to own a capture card to take a load off the CPU. I plan on doing twitch broadcasts soon. My PC isn't very good in the first place, so that is why I am looking to purchase a capture card for broadcasting. Thanks in advance.

83.1 GB on a single AVI file!?

Apparently they're HyperCam 2 recordings from 2010. I didn't delete all of them, but just the corrupted ones that were hogging up space. The video was probably 1366x768 and longer than 20 minutes.

83.1 GB on a single AVI file!?

Using SpaceMonger to find out what is in my hard drives, I came across two EXTREMELY LARGE AVI files. One is 83.1 GB, and the other is about 40 GB. They can't be played. Trying to play in Winamp has crashed it. The file is called "clip0023.avi" and I don't know what it's doing there. The obvious...

    Image burn-in help!

A couple days ago my DVD player broke so I started watching DVDs on my computer. Well since the screen doesn't turn off automatically when the DVD is over, the disc menu just sits on the same screen for hours since I sleep watching movies. I don't have cable. Anyway, when I'm on FL studio I can...

    Apple Xserve is password protected.

Someone gave me his Apple Xserve G5 that he was not using. So I power it on and the background says "TTGBackup" and the system is locked with a password. Also there is a flashing orange light on the front. Is there a way I could reinstall the operating system, or maybe install Ubuntu? Or just...

    Compaq SR5000 CPU Upgrade

I have this Compaq SR5703WM and it runs horribly! It'll browse the internet fine, but when I go watch a video, it won't play without lagging out very badly. The APU is an AMD Sempron 2.20GHz (LE-1250 Sparta) and it has 2GB of RAM installed. My old computer, a Dell Dimension 8300, had a 2.66GHz...
