I guess my question is that will buying a new hard drive fix the problem or is there a chance its something else And i should just get a new pc

Ok I have a MSI netbook and when I first got it the touchpad was acting up (mouse clicker jumping when typing)....I quickly fixed it by going into control panel and going into touchpad settings and disabling the touchpad while im typing.... worked great for 5 months...all the sudden yesterday...

Yes show quicklaunch is clicked whats funny is i remember this happening before i reformatted too....like it used to show up but then all the sudden one day it didn't I read somewhere maybe it has to do with registry or something? noone has had this problem before?

recently reformated and installed xp quicklaunch is not appearing on startup? have to do it manually every reboot...i usually keep my comp on anyways ...so just a minor nuissance....any help? much appreciated

Update...reinstalled xp and it runs flawlessly on 1024xwhatever lol
