Help Me build a Gaming PC around RTX 3080 TI

GTX 1070 shouldn't be bottlenecking that badly. Should be able to play all games Ultra settings at 60 FPS. Unless he just wants to upgrade. What processor is he using?

I'm learning that I know nothing about SSD

That site is notorious for skewed results; it's inherit in its nature. In what way is it indicating this? The random 4K results (both bottom most results) are beyond adequate. In fact, the bottom right 4K random is pretty decent. What brand and model SSD? This is normal. SSDs don't operate...

After factory reset unable to use anything on hp15 f387wm energystar

Try to connect an external keyboard and mouse. I've had HP computers do this many times. If you let it sit and run for a little while it'll typically pick up the keyboard and touchpad again.

    Stopping dam windows 10 updates

Because the components of each computer vary so greatly. It's not that surprising and shouldn't be. Microsoft has released update patches and hotfixes to updates since forever. We had six computers affected by the same 2004 cumulative update, all became useless. One required a reinstall. The...

    Ryzen 7 2700x Volts / EDC / Wraith Prism

This could likely be related to the design of case you had. The stock Intel coolers are loud as hell and always have been; they're also garbage. They are so much louder than the Wraith coolers.

why is the computer shutting down

That's not what you said though. You said you can't boot from higher numbered SATA ports, which is false. Huh? The first M.2 slot usually disables SATA 0 when in use, so the opposite is true. You're actually giving horrible advice by telling an individual to plug a drive into SATA 0. Evidence...

Transfer rate decrease with multiple drives?

Are you talking about the Western Digital Blue 3D SATA SSD? If so, it would likely be over twice as fast as the QVO, but it's not really meant for those workloads. You need to take into consideration endurance as well. How often are these drives being subjected to these types of workloads? How...

Transfer rate decrease with multiple drives?

None of that is abnormal; the QVO line is not geared for performance, at all. The result of a few moments of SLC cache bursting. 70MB/s is your direct-from-QLC NAND read speed. This speed will vary greatly depending on how full the drive is and what workload the drive is under. 480MB/s is your...

why is the computer shutting down

False. This was true 15 years ago, completely depending on the motherboard. "most motherboards can not boot from sata-4 or higher"

    Internet Fraud

Probably got picked up in a breach. For the first time ever, I had a fraudulent charge on my debit card last week. It was a random sketchy 50 cent charge, which tells me the card was likely compromised in a security breach. Those small charges are sometimes the result of someone testing to see...

    Samsung 860 EVO 38c (100F) Temperature okay?

As stated, those temps are normal. I don't remember what the 860 hits under load, but it's not abnormal for SSDs to hit upwards of 50 degrees celsius or higher. Interestingly, the flash used in SSDs operates best when warm.

    No Display on Monitors

Process of elimination. Can you hear beep codes at boot? Have you overclocked any part of it? If not, remove the power cable and all peripherals. Pull the CMOS battery. Let it sit for 10 minutes. Plug everything back in. Attempt to boot.

WIndows 10 need help for SSD type.

It's an mSATA mini half size, which is defunct. From what I could find, your laptop was capable of utilizing a pre-installed SSD cache, but it was never used. It's unusable for anything else, as it won't support OS booting. If you're looking to upgrade to an SSD, you'll have to use a 2.5" SATA SSD.
