    Corsair K55 custom light effects

It looks like Logitech and Razer keyboards are able to "emote" with the backlighting to match emotes in Fortnite. They seem to support it natively. Anyone know if it is possible to do this on a Corsair? Even if I have to do some legwork myself to make it happen?

Does my new computer have a DVD drive?

An external DVD drive is less than $50 on newegg, wouldn't be hard to grab one if you decide you really need it.

Any opinions on a cheap tablet for video streaming?

Are they pretty solid for video streaming? In my head I had pigeon-holed them into being reading devices, I'll have to give them a look.

Any opinions on a cheap tablet for video streaming?

I have a baby monitor that streams HD video. Right now I just stream to my phone, but I noticed this thing uses a whopping 80GB/month of wifi data. Fortunately, to date, I've always had the stream go over wifi. But it's a nightmare to think what that would cost if I erroneously shut off wifi...

The computer does not start. If I press Start button - nothing happens

For this post I am assuming that you have not recently assembled the system or changed anything internally. If you have, check to make sure you remembered to reconnect the power button and that it is in the correct pins. It is easy to mess up those pins. If the PSU does not spin up, it is...

Gaming on a 10yr old laptop

You'll most likely need to track down a new battery for a laptop that old. That may prove to be a difficult task.

    Private Game Servers

The best thing you can do to learn how to host games is to dive in and just start with one you like. I enjoyed running one on a spare computer while I was in college and learned a lot about computers in the process. All games handle differently than each other, even ones that share the same...

Phone call saying someone is hijacking my computer

Microsoft will never call you to tell you computer is being hijacked. Heck, try getting them on the phone for anything! They're definitely not ringing you proactively, that's the main point. So then you take that and extrapolate on it - whoever is calling you, if they're saying they're from...

    Computer restarts by itself

I've done that more than a few times with Dell when a company I worked for switched over to them for all the desktops. It's annoying but they do actually come out if you run into dead ends...which is much nicer than dealing with shipping.

Microsoft Surface Pro 4 - Garbage? Battery Junk? MS Failure?

It kind of makes you wonder if some car laws may apply. I am not a lawyer, and I am only generally aware of the concept, but it is considered predatory for a car manufacturer to sell you a car and then break your elbow to fix it. That sounds eerily relevant.

No Upgrade Since 2008, still running 40-50fps, Do Not Want To Upgrade Until 2028. Advice?

Wait, full stop. I want you to tell me about this apparent mission to use a computer for 20 years straight. It sounds downright monastic and I want to hear how it is going at the halfway point. You have really buried your lede, good sir.

8000 Duplicate emails coming into Outlook 2013 every few hours. Please help.

This sounds like you may have an inbox rule set up on the server that is going haywire. Or, it's possible you have an inbox rule set up on the server and the server itself is going haywire. Those are the first two things I'd look at. I'm guessing by your post count that you understand the...
