    I bought the CPU and RAM through Amazon UK. I actually just spoke to them and they are sending a courier out to collect them tomorrow, a refund when they receive items. It feels kind of strange sending both items back and then buying the exact items from Amazon once I receive a refund. Oh well...

    Yeah after two brand new mobo's, I think that isnt the prob........... I did 24 hour memtest86 with both sticks of ram = no errors. I then did each stick by itself, 12 hours each = no errors.     Yeah the stand offs are ok... I have tried two new mobo's. The first mobo I tried was a MSI Intel Z270 PC MATE and I had all of the problems listed above. After that, a friend helped me out with a new ASUS PRIME Z270-A, same issues as with the MSI board. The Asus board has less the sound lag...
