There is no such thing as the "best" antivirus. No AV/Malware app will pick up everything everytime. Yes Avast has a good name but so does Bitdefender and Kaspersky. For what it's worth a good security system would be say Avast (or the other mentioned ones) and a second opinion scanner like...
