I downloaded and burnt an ISO (slow speed 8x) to CD. I booted the CD and got as far as; "loading dtf" or something like that. So, I burnt another CD and tried again but got the same results. I can still boot into Windows and use the PC some of the time. Slow failing drive perhaps?

What is your thoughts on the new Avast v5? For me, the new GUI is a nice touch. However even with the latest program update: 5.0.396 the Avast icon in the system tray doesn't display. Other than that, it seems to be working just fine.:D
