It could be the servers you're connecting to while playing games, or it could just be your connection. DSL isn't really known for having the best latency... If you set up a continuous ping in command prompt, do you get high times or dropped packets?

Information Systems is pretty much the same thing as CS at my school, except you take some networking and business courses instead of taking straight programming and calculus. I started as a CS major, then changed to IS, and now English.. haha

I've been playing the R.U.S.E. Beta quite a bit, and it is fantastic.
