what if you log onto vista and remove security and log onto windows 7 and remove admin security. Than when you are in windows 7 try to partition the hdd by delete the vista if you want to get rid of that os.

Try it the os 7 beta is more stable even if it a beta. I had no problem. I had install a dual boot on my desktop and laptop and had no problem.

It should not cause any problem if you format the second hdd and install os 7 on it. When you finished installed 7 and pc asked to restart it would pop up a dual boot menu. Makesure you have all the drivers on a usb or disc ready just incase some drivers is not compatable with os 7.
