    Worth how much to sell

Hello, I'm planning on a new build within the next few months and I'm wondering how much my system is worth to sell. Motherboard: MSI z170a Xpower gaming titanium CPU: I7 6700k liquid cooled Ram: 32GB 2600 corsair vengeance DDR4 1 4TB HDD 1 1TB HDD 250GB Samsung SSD 700W PSU Asus Rogue Strix...

    To OC or not to

Hi there, so since getting an RTX 2080 I've noticed my I7 6700k struggling a bit. I also read that it sometimes can add to the life of a processor to OC. I do have OC options on the motherboard itself, but also software to kick it into OC mode. I'm wondering what the best choice would be, for...

    Nvidia rtx

Please let us know Mr. money bags how the 2080 TI does. I started my build 2 years ago, and the I7 6700k is discontinued but I think it will dice it for another 2 years with my 1080 TI. I think I'll leave my rig be until the 3000 series comes out, then just do another build. I might upgrade to...

    Computer randomly crashing

Given it's a driver, all I know is that my gaming keyboard often has to be unplugged and plugged back in to work on boot up, and I recently, not sure if there were crashes before this or not, completely uninstalled my sound interface device and reinstalled the drivers just by plugging it in...

    Computer randomly crashing

Hi there, my computer seems to just have a blue screen pop up saying "Windows has ran into an error and needs to shut down." It collects information and then shuts off. This came out of the blue (see what I did there) and is really frustrating. As much as I know about fixing computers, this...

    Compatible?

Hi there, so I have an I7 6700k. Quite happy with it, but just thinking for the future, if it starts to fall behind would I be able to upgrade to say an 8700k on my motherboard? It appears that both are the same socket, LGA 1151 I think it is. It would be epic if I could. I won't at this point...

Radeon RX 560 vs GeForce GTX 1050

Well, if you don't care about those than that's your prerogative, I mean in the end it's all up to preference. It's just that most people go with Nvidia. I agree, whatever brand is your fancy. Darn, now I want to borrow/buy an AMD card just to see the difference. I had an ATI card back in the...

Radeon RX 560 vs GeForce GTX 1050

But, can you broadcast, record, and all that by pressing two buttons with AMD? Not to mention play games on your phone, or Nvidia Shield?

Radeon RX 560 vs GeForce GTX 1050

essentially they are the same but Nvidia software offers much more, support and software etc. But the 1050 ti is noticeably better.

Mobo or cpu problem?(warning: very abnormal)

well, look at that I learned something, glad it worked. Like I said though, you need to test the whole system to know what hardware is to blame.

Mobo or cpu problem?(warning: very abnormal)

Hi there, thankfully I have the experience and knowledge to at least say something. However much it will help you, not sure, but this is what you need to do to fix the problem. You literally need to test EVERYTHING. Sounds like you've tested a lot. My thinking is, it's either the motherboard...

Chugging, I think just with DirectX 12

Oh ok, I that must be the problem then. In Need for Speed it doesn't appear to have an option to put it to 11.

Chugging, I think just with DirectX 12

Come to think of it, all of the games I'm having this issue with are EA games

Chugging, I think just with DirectX 12

Hi there, some video games seem to chug. With Battlefield 1 and the new Star Wars game trial, turning it to DirectX 11 seems to make it a lot better. However, new games still seem to while showing a solid frame rate, studder a bit. I'd have to do more testing but it seems to be with DirectX 12...

Very Noob-Overclocking MSI GTX 970 How to get more FPS?

Just a fair warning, I wrecked my gtx 770 2Gb from overclocking, and got a refurbished one under warranty. Then I sold it, and then the refurbished one the guy told me had to get sent in again for a new one. Just to warn you, especially if it's not under warranty, could fry it.

connecting a ps4 to a monitor with no hdmi slot

You could actually just get an HDMI to DVI cord, I have one that I've used for years. You can't connect it to the video card, but could connect the ps4 to the monitor with said cable.
