    ssd drive for gaming

Thanks a lot for the tip on that program (FYI it shows the firmware at the top). I'm running V002. Until I read confirmation the bugs are worked out of V006 I'm not upgrading. It shows TRIM as highlighted (which means it's running?) on both my drives using the Marvell controller showing SATA 6GB.

    ssd drive for gaming

I only have my OS on the 64GB. I use my 1.5TB drive for program files and everything else. So I'd use the vertex for games and your steam directory if you have a non SSD drive for everything else. I have 26GB free on the 64GB drive. I'm using the Marvell controller and didn't realize...

    ssd drive for gaming

I have a 64GB Sata 3 Crucial SSD for my OS and a 128GB Sata 3 Crucial for games. Love them both. I like the fact everything loads faster because I primarily play games and hate waiting (even the extra 30 seconds lol).

    My New Build

LOL it doesn't look bad really I just know it has wear and tear. Hindsight being 20/20 I would have bought a new shiny case to match the insides lol

    My New Build

LOL Pics to come soon. Although I'm regretting not buying a new case as this one was filthy and even after 30 minutes of cleaning with air, windex, and q-tips it still has some dust on it. Also it's showing a little wear and tear. I def should have spent another $50 on a Cooler Master...

    My New Build

I have the Antec P182 my bad. Like I said my roommates old case so I used it for free. Don't really care for the case actually but it's free. Kinda wish I'd have bought something new and flashy but it's still a nice case. I got my new computer up finally (had to reinstall due to Win 7...

    My New Build

The case was actually my roommates old case but he's moving around a lot and left it here for me to use so it's free ($185 saved there). I chose NVIDIA because I've had nothing but bad luck with ATI cards in the past (overheating, artifacting at stock speeds etc).

    My New Build

After 4 years of a couple upgrades I finally bought it: Core i5 760, COOLER MASTER Hyper 212 Plus, ASUS P7P55D-E Pro SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.0 ATX Intel Motherboard, two GTX 460 EVGA 768M cards for SLI, Corsair 750 Watt PSU, 64GB Crucial SSD Sata III for the OS, 128GB Crucial Sata III for the games...

Trying to decide if I should upgrade....

I currently have what is in my signature. I'm contemplating upgrading to an i5 750 or the i7 920. My builds are actually on $65 difference in price due to using 8GB with the i5 and 6GB with the i7. I'm not buying a new video card right now as my GTX 260 does fine. In fact my whole computer...

Would like your opinions on my new GPU upgrade

I am looking to upgrade my video card from an 8800GTS 640MB. I'm torn between ATI and NVIDIA because if I get an NVIDIA card I can continue to use the 8800 for Physx processing in the system due to their cuda tech. I'm looking at these cards right now: $309 with MIR $279 Sapphire 4850 X2...

The [CF]Clan is back! CoD4 players!

Count me in I'll stop by for a bit. I'm not much for S&D as I prefer TMD but I'll stop in. I'm "Superman" I'm sure you'll see me flying around. :D

Should I upgrade my system or build a new rig?

True but I'd be wasting money to go that route.

Another Birthday Build For A Friend

Vista 64 Oh and let me add that Vista 64 has been problem free on my computer and my 2 roommates systems as well as my friends new system. After running Vista with 2GB of ram and now 4GB myself it is well worth the upgrade to Vista 64 or XP 64 as the extra ram makes the system fly. 2GB was...
