    no, but I just searched the forum and I think I have to be pluegged into a mobo. Otherwise the PSU is in a sort of standbye mode. It's the mobo that actualy turns it on. Can anyone confirm this?

    PSU and mobo compatability

    First post and nOOb extreme. Looking at building a new PC with the new AM2. All the mobo's say they are a power pin 24. My question is will a PSU that is 20+4 be compatible? Would a PSU that is a 24 be better? Give me the info. please. Thanks.
