I would personally get a nice logitech system, they work great and even at maximum do not blow out :) I am now a silver member lol

    Is EPoX a good brand???

I can only agree with the previous posts. By reading some reviews not many people seem to have an issue with them.

The pre-n is backward compatible with the 802.11g and b standard. So basically as long as none are a then you are all set :D

    upgrade

Guessing its time frame from the specs given, I would say back then thats the best technowlogy they had for video :-p. I don't think you're going to do much better than 640x480 without a video card :(

    Should I exchange?

Not a lot of specs on newegg for the Saphire. But from the pore specs I see coming from what it is up against I suggest the Saphire even if it is a little more.

    Thermal Grease 101?

I know you didn't ask, but because he answered you so well I figure I would inform you that some thermal compounds can send heat through more efficiently. Such as the Arctic Silver 5 (AS5)

    How Much?

Hey all, how much do you think I should ask for a P4 1.5Ghz CPU, compatible HP mobo, 768mb of SD-RAM, new heatsink and fan, and a 128mb GeForce4 mx440 AGP4x video card. Also I will be installing it into a case for whichever of my friends buy it.

    Testing a mobo

I guess I will just spend the extra $20/30 on newegg. Only because by the time I get the other parts, if the mobo fails anywhere I will have to send it to ASUS and from what I hear ASUS's support is...well, non existent :)

    Testing a mobo

hey all, I was thinking of buying the ASUS A8N-E mobo off of ebay because it is dirt cheap, but I won't have a processor or RAM for it for a couple weeks. Is there any way of testing to see if the motherboard works before getting the CPU and RAM to actually boot it with? Or should I just wait...

    Using two different brands

I know I can use a D-Link adapter on my Linksys router but can I use a linksys adapter for connection with a dlink router? (wireless BTW). My linksys router sucks, and I alwasy loved linksys but they seem to be obsolete compared to dlink's DI-624. Thanks, -Mike

    Thermal paste...

    Stupid Question

Well I have a rather rediculous question for you all. Would I be able to put a flat computer (the optiplex type) into an, ATX (standup) case? Are the parts able to stand up into a standard ATX case...like motherboard setting. Thanks, -Mike
